Anthropic Releases Claude Sonnet 4.6 With Stronger Agent and Computer-Use Skills
Anthropic says Sonnet 4.6 improves coding, long-context reasoning, agent planning and resistance to prompt injection while adding a 1M-token context window in beta.

Anthropic released Claude Sonnet 4.6 on 17 February, positioning it as the company’s most capable Sonnet model to date.
The company says the model improves coding, computer use, long-context reasoning, agent planning, knowledge work and design. It also offers a 1M-token context window in beta.
Anthropic emphasised prompt-injection resistance for computer-use workflows, where hidden instructions on websites can attempt to redirect an AI system away from the user’s intent.
